The Bachata in Australia has many followers around the world. There are many dancers, promoters, artists, etc that religiously follow the Bachata scene in Australia, as the Australian Bachateros are always pushing the boundaries of the rhythm, creating catchy choreographies, performances, new dancing / teaching techniques and new fundamentals regardless of the style of Bachata (Dominican, Traditional, Moderna, Bachatango, etc).
As an Australian, I’m proud to be part of the Bachata industry here, and share the spotlight with many talented Bachateros such as: Nestor & Katrina, Kari & Johan, Gabriela Alegria, El Moro, Josie Cote, Leonardo Quiroz, Ben Brillante plus all the team leaders that create amazing Bachata teams.
The Sydney Bachata Festival is the best stage were the Australian Bachateros showcase their talent, however, at the Sydney Latin Festival, there were some amazing Bachata performances, which are definitly worth sharing them.
