During the 1st Reno Bachata Convention, the organizers of the Sydney Bachata Festival awarded full passes to the winners of the Jack and Jill amateur competition. We are proud to announce that Darwin Tengco from California (USA) won two full passes and he cannot wait to come to Sydney this April, 2009!
During the Reno Bachata Convention, the popularity of the Sydney Bachata Festival spread up like fire! The thought of dancing Bachata in the land down under appealed to everyone. At the end of the festival more than 20 people from the USA confirmed that they will be coming to Sydney. We look forward to hosting you guys!
For the second year in a row, the Sydney International Bachata Festival will be hosted during the Anzac Weekend in Australia, from the 24th to the 26th of April. The organizers are working hard to make this event better than previous year. Being the first festival of its kind in the world, they have a top job to do. More than 6 international instructors have already confirmed their appearance to the event as well as an Urban Bachata Band for a big concert on the last night!
